Blue, color of the ocean, the rarest color in nature, kay ganda 'di ba? Let's take a closer look.

This is my first pair of alloy pedals. It's a blue Unite Instinct Pedal, a flat alloy pedal with 10-pins and, it's engraved with Pedal HQ and #PedalHQrew's logos.

I got this at Pedal HQ, with free stickers.

Here it is from its compact and 100% recyclable box. It comes out with the pins uninstalled to further minimize the package.

The box includes 41 pins. You only need 40, but it's nice to have an extra. Having 10-pins on each side of the pedals, this is going to be my grippiest pedals, grippier than my already grippy 8-pins Raceface Chester pedals.

Here are the full specifications from the box:

  • Oversize 113x102 mm body
  • 6082 Aluminum body
  • Concave platform
  • Black nickel plated En19T axle
  • 4 igus bushes/2 cartridge bearings
  • 40 replaceable pins
  • Easy to service
  • Weight 440 grams (pair)

It's an easy install with an Allen wrench. Here it is on the my bike. It's not that fat, not that slim as well. It's about the width of my thumbnail.

It is available in 6 colors:

  1. Black
  2. Blue
  3. Green
  4. Orange
  5. Purple
  6. Red
